Farah Al Qaissieh is an award-winning social entrepreneur, a consulting hypnotist, and a person who stutters. In 2013, Farah launched Stutter UAE, a social platform to support and raise awareness around stuttering; it was then that Farah discovered her calling.

Since 2013, Farah has been hosted in multiple radio and TV shows discussing Stutter UAE along with highlighting the challenges people who stutter face. In 2018, Farah was one of the recipients of the prestigious Abu Dhabi Awards by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates; as a recognition of her positive impact and efforts to better the community.

In 2017, a short-film documentary ‘Just Another Accent’ shedding light on Farah’s journey with Stutter UAE and stuttering in general premiered at the Short Film Corner of Cannes Film Festival in France and the Malmo Arab Film Festival in Sweden. In 2016, Farah was featured in a chapter of a book titled “Game Changers: How Women in the Arab World are Changing the Rules and Shaping the Future”. She has more than 17 years of experience working in the healthcare sector starting from Al Jazeera Hospital, Central Hospital, Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) and DoH. Al Zaabi has collaborated with leading hospitals and universities in order to provide top care for IPC patients and improve healthcare services. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Information Management from the Higher College of Technology in Abu Dhabi with Distinction with Honors.
